Our 2016 Honorary Chair, Lee Roy Mitchell

Mr. Mitchell is the founder of Cinemark Holdings Inc. (Cinemark). Cinemark Holdings, Inc. and subsidiaries (the “Company”) is a leader in the motion picture exhibition industry, with theatres in the United States (“U.S.”), Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala and Bolivia. The Company also manages additional theatres in the U.S., Brazil, and Colombia. Mr. Mitchell has served as Chairman of the Board since March 1996 and as a director since the company’s inception in 1987. Mr. Mitchell served as Chief Executive O cer from 1987 until December 2006, Vice Chairman of the Board from March 1993 until March 1996 and was President from the company’s inception in 1987 until March 1993.

Mr. Mitchell has been engaged in the motion picture exhibition business for over 50 years.
